4th Street Fantasy…
continues June 21-23, 2013 in Minneapolis, MN

Semi-Structured Events

A number of extra events have accumulated over the last several years, some occurring before the main convention, and some afterwards. This list might not be exhaustive. All events are very much optional and likely to contribute to further post-con exhaustion. You've been warned!

Our very talented and generous Elise Matthesen has once again offered to teach a jewelry making class for any registered 4th Streeter at no cost on Thursday from 4 to 6 PM. Bring your own tools and materials. This post from last year gives a bit of flavor: LiveJournal post.

For the last several years, those that have arrived early have started gathering for a few hours Thursday evening/night to gather to read a play, tell stories, etc. We haven't quite figured out what we want to do this year, but wanted to make sure to let everyone know that the event exists. Feel free to wander over to Live Journal or FaceBook to strike up discussion on what we could do. This is a great time to get to know a few people before the main event.

Throughout the weekend, we will have random guerrilla auctions. Some very special items have been donated, things so cool that only Ellen Klages, auctioneer extraordinaire, knows what they are -- or how much you want them! All proceeds will go toward the future of 4th Street.
