Fourth Street: an Appreciation

Iteration, that revolving door,
Return to topic hour after hour,
The audience as moderator.

The moderator as footnote.
Ideas thicker than smoke.
Steve outlines the route

From idea right on to print,
Morality becomes the flint
To start a fire, a flame, a rant.

Terri speaks of living the myth,
We do the frantic math,
The music, dissect the pith

Of planting the tree of such a life.
I return home still a mother, wife,
But changed beyond belief.
